Final Days
The time between Christmas and New Years is a transition to another life. The preparations are past. The gathering is settled and the next chapter hasn’t even gotten here yet. Lots of us feel like the in between phase of after Christmas to the start of the New Year is the end of something and the ability to Start a new beginning. If you can take this transition slowly and gently you will handle the New Year much less stressed. Your nervous system needs time to adjust to the new and release the stress of the old. Every year we have the same routines, mind sets, family dynamics, food, gatherings, money worries and physical symptoms. Our adrenal glands get into cortisol dumping overload. Our blood pressure spikes and after the adrenaline rush is over for that Christmas Day expectation we have an unexpected let down. Take this time, these last final days of this year of your transformation and shedding of the old as a deep cleaning. The new year is almost here and you have new choices, new abilities and new blessings coming your way. This next year is about getting unstuck, rising confidence, and swift progress after periods of stagnation and struggle with the transformation. Look into your new life for abundance, love, exploration and adventure. Bring into your life’s abundance that inner fire and ability to act with heart and perseverance. I take this week and start a modified fast emotionally, socially and nutritionally. As I get to the end of this year and release the things not coming with me to the next year I am ready for change. What can you do these last few days to prepare for the new and prosperous new year.
